Privacy Notice

SomeReps is an iPhone app that stores all training data exclusively on your device. This website exists to introduce the app and to collect TestFlight beta signups.
1. Data controller
The data controller for this site is the provider named in the imprint.
2. Server log files
When you visit this site, our host Vercel automatically stores server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, HTTP status code, referrer, user agent. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the technical security and stability of the site. Logs are deleted after at most 30 days.
3. TestFlight beta signup
When you sign up for the TestFlight beta we process your email address, the timestamp of your consent, and the IP address of the signup. These items serve as proof under Art. 7(1) GDPR. We use the address once to send you the TestFlight invite link when the beta opens. Sending happens manually from the operator’s personal mailbox; no automated mailer or third-party email service is used. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 7 GDPR. Retention: until the invite is sent or until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time, informally, by emailing the address in the imprint; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
4. Processors
This website and the data store (Vercel KV) are operated by Vercel Inc. (USA). Vercel has been certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework since June 2024; the third-country transfer is therefore covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision. Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR are also in place. Vercel KV is configured in the EU region. A Data Processing Agreement per Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel.
5. No cookies, no tracking
We use no cookies, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party fonts. All fonts are served directly from this domain.
6. Data in the app
In the SomeReps iPhone app itself, no data is transmitted to servers. Training data stays exclusively in the local app database. There are no accounts, no sync, no cloud backups by us.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). A short email to the address in the imprint is enough.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR).
